When You’re Feeling Ready for Change, but You're Still in the “Not Yet” Stage.

You know those moments when something you see or experience just… hits? A random TikTok shows up, it gets under your skin, and suddenly, you’re wildly brainstorming or taking notes, realizing, “OH. This is for me.” That’s where I’ve been this week — I found an unrelated video during a Google search that reminded me: I’m ready for some big changes.

When You’re Feeling Ready for Change:

That feeling of readiness is honestly the BEST space to be in — but I’ve gotta be honest, it’s also pretty dang uncomfortable. 🥴 It’s both exciting and frustrating. It’s that in-between tension: when you’re feeling ready for change, but still stuck in the “not yet.”

This in-between space is SO normal, especially during seasonal shifts! It's one of the reasons I created this collection of journaling prompts to help sort through the shifts in your life. And if you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve been there… or maybe even lived there for a long time. If that’s you, I want to encourage you:

Feeling “done” isn’t a bad thing — it’s often the best catalyst for change. 💥

What “Feeling Ready for Change” Looks Like for Me:

For me, this readiness is showing up as a lot of behind-the-scenes messiness — internal work, note-taking, dreaming. Here’s what it’s looked like lately:

🌿 Sitting down and writing out where I’m at — what I love and what I don’t love about this season of life.

🌿 Working through my Savory Summer Workbook to clarify what the next season of this year could look like.

🌿 Brainstorming and researching the different areas (or “buckets”) of life where I want to create change.

🌿 Sitting with the frustration of knowing I want change now, but realizing most of it will be a long, slow process.

(And, if I’m being totally honest… My natural desire is ALWAYS going to be instant gratification. 🥴 So… this part is really tough for me.)

A Note for You (and an Invitation)

If you’re feeling ready for change too — or maybe just ready to begin thinking about the shift from spring to summer — you might love the Simple Summer Workbook. It’s a gentle guide to help you savoring the summer with intention. No pressure. No hustle. Just a cozy space to explore what matters most to you.

Take a moment and ask yourself…

🌞 What are YOU feeling ready for in this season of life?

🌱 What’s quietly calling for your attention right now?

Before you go, just know: you’re not alone. I’m right here with you — sitting in the messy middle, figuring out what’s next. Let’s take the next small step, together. 🤗

Remember: Feeling “done” isn’t a bad thing — it’s often the best catalyst for change. 💥
